 How to install

  Save your data of the version 4.0.0

1. Download the new version 5.0 on your computer. 
2. Close Accounts & Budget.
3. Install this version to the default folder. For example \Accounts and Budget V5.0.
4. Start the version 5.0.
5. From the starting page, click on "Restore the data of the 4.0.x".
6. The filter must start. Indicate the paths of the two softwares (v4 and v5)
7. Start the conversion. All your data will be converted to be compatible with the new version.
8. When the conversion is finished, You can use the new version 5.0.
   

Using the program with Windows XP sp1 :

• The version 5.0 of Accounts & Budget uses the services pack 2  (SP2) of Windows XP to run.  If you don't want to install the Pack 2 of Windows XP :
  Via the Windows Explorer go to the folder where Accounts & Budget is installed, click on "Accounts.exe" with the right button of the mouse, click on Properties/Compatibility. Check  "Run this program with compatibility " Windows 2000

First using :

1. Choose a type for each account (checking, savings, credit) to adapt the notifications of the software.
2. Choose and set your user profil from the home page. (default data, color, tools...)

If you want to delete the old version :

1. Go to the "Installation/Uninstall programs" of Windows.
2. Select Accounts & Budget 4.0 and start the uninstall.
3. For the question "Delete all conponents" indicate No.
